Studio Nez is thrilled to present No. featuring the works of Chicago-based visual artist Bryn Gleason. She brings awareness to issues stemming from the abuse of women's bodies and rights, domestic violence, and the objectification of the female form. Her recent works are deeply personal and serve as a visual representation of the painful process of healing. This will be her second solo exhibition following her debut show at GreenPoint Gallery in New York.

For this exhibition, Bryn presents an impressive body of work that highlights her level of craftsmanship. From copper etching, printmaking, painting, drawing, photo-based resin work, and experimental mixed media, her use of diverse mediums is an extension of the feelings, meanings, and emotions behind her work. Her process is often grueling and tedious, resulting in an overall aesthetic that is dark, introspective, and eerily captivating.
